Resort Rules

At Ruffin' It Pet Resort our main concern is the well-being of our guests.  In order to provide the best care and healthy social environment we have specific requirements and policies listed below.
 
Resort Rules for all Guests:
Completed Resort Registration Application, Terms & Requirements, and Pet Personality Form (can be emailed or brought in at time of evaluation). 
Meet and greet evaluation process:  All guests are required to attend a meet and greet evaluation.  The day care evaluation takes approximately 2 hours and are scheduled by appointment at a time that works for you.  There is a $10 fee for the evaluation.  The fee will be refunded after successfully passing the evaluation and after the third day care visit.  The evaluation for boarding is a quick meet and greet that takes about 15-20 minutes.

Vaccinations:               
ALL DOGS must have written verification from your vet that your pet is current on the following vacations:
- Rabies - Current within 1 year
- DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) - Current within 1 year           
- Bordetella - Current within 1 year
- Canine Influenza - Current within 1 year
- Fecal Exam - Current and free of parasites within 1 year

ALL CATS must have written verification from your vet that your pet is current on the following vaccinations:
​- Rabies - Current within 1 year
- FVRCP (Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) - Current within 1 year 
- Fecal Exam - Current and free of parasites within 1 year
 

More Info:
- When dropping off or picking up guests they must be on a leash or in a carrier and wearing a quick release or snap collar with an ID tag.  Prong or choke collars are not allowed.
- All guests must be 12 weeks (3 months) of age or older.
- Guests that are older than 9 months need to be spayed or neutered.
- All guests must be non-aggressive and non-toy protective.  They should also not show threatening behavior towards any  person or any other guests. Your pet will be spending time with other guests (unless requested otherwise) and their safety & health is our main concern.
- All pets must be free from parasites (ticks and/or fleas).
- All dogs must not be able to jump a 4 foot high fence.
- Ruffin' It Pet Resort reserves the right to refuse any pet at any time for any reason.
